Our bookkeepers are passionate about bookkeeping! We are your business partner, painting the picture behind your numbers. Our team of friendly bookkeepers have the experience and knowledge to challenge the way you think about your business. As a result, we are passionate about the success of small business in Australia and love to see our client’s businesses grow! We use any of the bookkeeping software packages but are MYOB and Xero bookkeeping specialists. We love all things bookkeeping; not only Xero Setup/Fix Up/Conversion, compliance, preparing and lodging your BAS but also just basic bookkeeping services. Justine founded The BookSitters in February, 2009. She has a Degree in Business with a Major in Marketing and completed her Certificate IV in Bookkeeping in 2011. With over 15 years’ experience in bookkeeping and 25 years in small business covering building, hospitality, retail, health and not for profit industries, Justine is passionate about supporting local businesses to reach their goals.

Jackie Short

Bookkeeper & Projects | Canberra ACT

Jackie joined The BookSitters team in April 2010 and is predominantly a Xero bookkeeper. Because she has practised Xero bookkeeping for the past 9 years, Jackie enjoys the detailed set up, conversion and integration of forensic bookkeeping projects to help businesses to run smoother.

Jackie has over 20 years’ experience in small business, trade & construction, retail and commerce. She has a fantastic eye for detail and her qualifications and experience in the financial services industry make her uniquely qualified to assist small business owners in their journey to success.

Karin Evans

Senior Bookkeeper | Gold Coast QLD

Karin joined The BookSitters team in 2012 and has over 25 years of bookkeeping experience. Karin has strong interests in customer service, time management and organisation. As a result, her main focus is to ensure all customers goals are met and the administration of their bookkeeping is delivered in a timely manner.

Karin appreciates the Gold Coast lifestyle and on weekends she enjoys spending time at the beach or by the water with her family. With a strong work ethic and exceptional attention to detail, Karin is a dedicated bookkeeper and valuable member of The BookSitters team.

Pru Hall

Bookkeeper & BAS Agent | Wollongong NSW

Pru joined The BookSitters team in 2016 with a banking background and a Diploma in Accounting. She completed her bookkeeping training with The BookSitters and has since become a BAS agent, managing a portfolio of clients.

Outside of work, Pru enjoys reading, bushwalking and spending time with her family. She is a highly organised bookkeeper and great problem solver. Pru’s financial experience and caring nature make her an asset to the team at The BookSitters.

Petra Austing

Bookkeeper | Southern Highlands

Petra’s dedication and passion for providing exceptional customer service make her a highly valued member of The BookSitters family. Petra joined us in 2018 with a Bachelor of Commerce in Banking & Finance, and has since completed her Certificate IV in Bookkeeping.

Petra moved to Bowral from Sydney in 2017 and enjoys the quieter lifestyle of the Southern Highlands. In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, bushwalking and spending time outdoors with her two young sons.

Nicole Navratil

Bookkeeper & Business Administration | Southern Highlands

Nicole is our newest member of The BookSitters team, joining us earlier in 2021 to train in bookkeeping and assist with business operations.

Nicole has a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping and an extensive background in management, making her well equipped to navigate the daily challenges and detective work associated with bookkeeping!

Outside of work, Nicole enjoys reading, swimming, spending time with her dog and travelling with her husband. She is already a highly valued member of our team and we are delighted to have her working with us in our Southern Highlands office.
